Cookies on this custom storefront

The storefront code uses the first-party studio_viii_cart cookie after you add a piece to your bag. It stores a Shopify cart identifier so your bag can be recovered. It is marked HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, and uses Secure in production. Its maximum lifetime is 30 days; Shopify may expire the underlying cart earlier.

Optional Google measurement

Google Analytics is used, with your permission, to measure page views and shopping events such as viewing a product, adding a product to the bag, viewing the bag, and beginning checkout. Google Ads technology is used, with separate permission, to measure advertising performance and support advertising features. Google’s tags do not load on this custom storefront until at least one optional category is allowed. When allowed, Google may set first-party cookies including _ga, _ga_*, and advertising cookies such as _gcl_au; names and lifetimes can change as Google updates its services.

Privacy-choice storage

Your analytics and advertising choices are saved in the browser’s local storage under studio-viii-consent-v1. This prevents the website from asking again on every page. This record contains only the selected categories, a format version, and the time of the choice.

Shopify checkout and accounts

Shopify checkout and any Shopify-hosted account pages are separate services and may use additional cookies or similar technologies. Review the privacy information and controls presented there. Shopify’s Google integration or customer-event pixels can measure checkout and purchase events under Shopify’s customer-privacy controls.

Your choices

Use Privacy choices in the footer at any time to allow or reject optional analytics and advertising separately. Rejecting a category updates Google Consent Mode and attempts to remove readable first-party Google cookies for that category. A browser Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization denied. You can also remove or block storage through browser settings. Removing the essential bag cookie may disconnect the browser from its saved bag.
